Sometimes prompts help me. And sometimes I'm at a loss for words. I hate being at a loss. Especially for words.
But, really, I struggle with this common theme of "Who are your heroes?" and "Who inspires you?"
I struggle with it because there is not one person or one theme or one idea that inspires me. I am created and molded by the world around me, by the earth from which I've come from. I'm inspired by the beauty of nature, and of children, and of souls and of life. And that, in a nutshell, is all of God.
But, really, how cliche can I be? I hate cliche. But really, I have no better answer, I am inspired by the One and the Only thing that gives me life.
I am inspired by the hand that feeds me and the hand that takes away. I am inspired by the discipline I learn through obedience. I am inspired by the friendships that are cultivated by the essence of Him. I am inspired by every single laugh that comes out of my daughters' mouths. I am inspired by the people who accept His grace daily, who understand redemption and live saved.
I know I'm a cliche. Really, and I'm sorry.
But sometimes it must be shouted and sang from the mountains and all of that mess:: I am inspired by Love.
