Thinking about my kitchen and guest bath remodel. We have lived in our house for 4 years now, and I have ALWAYS wanted to redo these two rooms. We are doing it a bit DIY, which I love. My husband and I are two-peas-in-a-pod when it comes to a good project. Nothing like a little sweat equity. We are repainting our cabinets, which are in good shape, just an awful light oak color. Getting new granite countertops (that part won't be DIY), updating the hardware, sinks and faucets and even adding a couple new pieces of furniture & accessories. I'm pretty excited about it. So much so that I can't stop thinking about it, I just want to do, do do! The cabinet paint takes 16hrs to dry in between coats, so that is going to slow me down quiet a bit! I can't wait to show you guys the finished project. Stay tuned! ;)
Listening to: Michael Jackson has been blasting through our house while we work on our renovations. Some of which we have been trying to get done even though our kids are toughing at our feet. MJ seems to keep them dancing, singing and for the most part happy and entertained. Thanks Michael!
Watching Revenge. Ahh Netflix. I'm a sucker to you. A month or so ago a friend recommended Revenge and since I had never seen it before, I decided to give it a try through Netflix. Well you know how the story goes, one episode quickly turns to 5. And before you know it you have devoured a whole season. Needless to say, I am now on season 3, the current one. It's such a silly show, this I know, but it certainly has got me hooked with its little plot twists and turns.
Inspired By the everyday project. It's from a great blogger over at Annapolis & Company and it's all about tricks and tips on how to become a great phone photographer. I myself love photography, I consider myself quiet an amateur when it comes to capturing my own photos though. Something on my list of things to spend more time perfecting. I love this project because it is small enough, attainable even, to work on iPhone photography. I think I have gotten some cool shots thus far, and I have the #everydayproject to thank for that. Here is my favorite from this week.
Thankful for the immense and unexplainable gift of Baptism and the joy of having so many amazing, faithful people to raise my children around. My faith life is pretty important to me, okay, that doesn't actually even begin to explain it, but it will have to do. Anyways, today Lucia (Jenna's youngest) was Baptized and my husband and I are blessed with the opportunity to be her God Parents. I am so grateful that God choses to enter into us, small, broken, sinful, humans and not only loves us, but uses us. I'm am more than thankful to be able to be used as a blessing in Lucia's life. Thank you Jesus!
