All I want for Christmas is... cloth diapers! I was super excited to receive a Smart One Organic All-In-One Diaper in Great Lake color to try out and review.
Christy Malone is the mama behind Smart Bottoms. She is passionate about cloth diapers and made a choice to cloth diaper her second and has never looked back! Christy says, "Smart Bottoms offers an organic cloth diapering system that is 100% made in the United States. Our high quality products are available at a reasonable price, so all families can provide the finest for their little ones."
I appreciate a quality-made cloth diaper, and I appreciate it even more knowing that it is a company started by a fellow mama with a similar passion for putting quality fabrics on her babies.
The Smart One Organic All-In-One features:
- 100% Organic Cotton inner provides a trimmer, more absorbent diaper.
- Attached insert can be folded to customize where your child needs the most absorbency.
- This diaper features 10 super absorbent, yet trim, layers of organic cotton fabric.
- Design allows for quick dry time.
- Four rise settings allows for a perfect fit from 8 - 35 pounds.
- Wide (non-encased) elastic around the legs decreases chances for red marks.
- Cost - $25.00
It's worth noting that this diaper also features reversed male/female snaps. (Yes, this is a technical term... Jenna had to explain it to me). As your child grows and you have to let the snaps out on the sides, this diaper will not leave marks in their sides. This and the non-encased elastic will make this a very comfortable diaper to wear snug on baby and for baby to grow into.
This diaper also features some adorable prints! Check out all of these adorable colors and prints! I'm in love with the Tie Dye and Emerson prints.
I love how trim this diaper fits on my little man and that it allows him to be super mobile and still no worries of leaks! And the verdict...Ted is quite the mover and shaker now. He rarely sits still to eat, let alone for me to snap 100 pics of him in diapers. His first words just might be, "Mama, I don't care if it's for the blog, I want to play!" Anyways, he played in this diaper, crawled all over the house, and napped in it. After all that, still no leaks! There's not much more to ask of a great cloth diaper.
And that smile says it all... All Ted wants for Christmas is more cloth diapers ;-)
