Sadly, my second baby girl is apparently severely allergic to the zoo. You heard (I mean read) that correctly - the zoo. But I didn't even learn this the first time her grandmother took her to the zoo - I thought it was maybe something she ate - but it took until the babysitter took her to zoo, and her face to look like this AGAIN for me to realize that it must really just be the zoo. The dang zoo!!

Poor baby.

My tip for making your toddler happy? Take him or her to the allergist and figure out why her face looks like a balloon! (Even though the allergist can't check for elephant dander OR all of the crazy botanical plants we have at our zoo, so I still don't really know what it is about the zoo - we just avoid it at all costs!)

Is your babe allergic to anything weird?
